The mission of out-of-school programming at BHRSD is to provide opportunities for students to receive academic intervention and advancement, extend school-day learning, facilitate personal growth, and develop social-emotional learning in an active, engaging, community environment.

At Community Learning & Enrichment Opportunities (CLEO) we support the growth of the whole student through active learning opportunities  which are collaborative, experiential, enriching, relevant, playful, and authentic.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Spring session ends June 12, 2024

Spring session will begin March 27, 2024.

  • Enrollment for Spring session will begin March 11 and continue through March 18.
  • Families will receive notification of placement by March 20.
  • In the event of over-enrollment, a weighted lottery will be conducted and students may be placed on a waitlist.

Summer Session

Summer session will begin July 10, 2024 and will run Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Summer session will end at the middle school and the high school on August 8.

Summer session will end at the elementary school on August 15.

Enrollment for Summer will begin May 2 and continue through May 16, with final rosters available by May 23.

  • In the event of over-enrollment, a weighted lottery will be conducted on May 28 and students may be placed on a waitlist.
  • Students must attend all days of the Summer session.

Enrollment for Spring session begins March 11, 2024 and ends March 18, 2024.

DBM Spring PROGRAM OFFERINGS – en Espanol

High School will be running a variety of clubs this spring — Spartan Fit (full), Soccer, Writing Club, Playwright’s Workshop, Art & Photography Club

  • The program runs until 5:20 at the elementary school, 5:15 at the middle School, 5:10 at the high school. Transportation is provided.
  • Space is limited.
  • The learning opportunities are collaborative and project-based, so students are expected to attend consistently either 2 days or 4 days per week for a minimum of 10 weeks.
  • ALL STUDENTS WHO WISH TO TAKE THE LATE BUS MUST ENROLL USING THE LINKS AT BHRSD.ORG/latebus
