    A coalition of philanthropy and business partners has joined together to create a COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund that will rapidly deploy resources to community-based organizations at the frontlines of the coronavirus outbreak in Berkshire County. Co-led by the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation and the Berkshire United Way, COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund for Berkshire County has launched to provide flexible resources to 501c3 organizations in our region working with communities who are disproportionately impacted by the coronavirus and the economic consequences of this outbreak.     Dear BHRSD Community, Good morning. I hope you’re doing well during these challenging times. I hope the remote learning options are engaging and supportive. I’m reaching out with four updates. 1) With guidance from the Commissioner’s Office, we are updating our last day of school. Our last day of school is now Friday June 12th. 2) We continue to work to meet the needs of families facing food insecurity.  If you want to be part of our food program, please email your request to meals@bhrsd.org or call Kathy Sullivan at 413-644-2325.     Dear BHRSD Community, Today Governor Baker announced that schools will be closed for the remainder of the school year. BHRSD will continue with our approach to Remote Learning. In the coming days and weeks, we will share updates on how this impacts our plans for athletics, graduations, awards, and other end of year activities and celebrations.
