• Meeting on COVID-19 Vaccine Policy / Vote

Dear BHRSD Community, I’m reaching out to invite you to a special virtual School Committee meeting on December 8th at 6pm to gather school community feedback in advance of a potential School Committee vote on a potential COVID-19 vaccine mandate. As you know, our schools and community have been working hard to try to manage the impact of COVID-19.  We have implemented a number of practices to support keeping our schools open.  These have included wearing masks, participating in pool testing, hand sanitizing, and maintaining distances.  Staff are vaccinated at 99.6%.  We are now working on booster shots for all eligible […]

  • Holidays and Travel

Please remember how excited we all are, the students, staff, parents and administrators that our schools are open.  Our collective goal is to keep it this way.  Our best approach […]

  • BHRSD job openings

Dear BHRSD Community, I’m reaching out with an unusual request.  I am hoping some of you might consider or pass this information onto friends. COVID-19 has had a big impact on our economy and our ability to hire for both full and part-time positions.  In addition, because we are all carefully monitoring our health and potential symptoms, we have a greater need for substitutes. If you have the time and interest, we would love for you to consider applying for full-time positions in food services, as custodians and paraprofessionals, and as day to day and long term substitute teachers.  The full-time positions […]
