Position:    Humanities Teacher Grade 5  (English/Social Studies) Monument Valley Reg. Middle School

Requirements:   Massachusetts Teaching Certificate in the general area of assignment (Humanities, English and Social Studies, Elementary or Middle Generalist).   

Qualifications:                      Demonstrated knowledge of, concern for, and success in work with students of varying needs, talents & abilities; Demonstrated success in communicating effectively & constructively with students, colleagues and parents in the development and delivery of child-centered instruction; Demonstrated success in developing engaging instruction & strong academic skills around middle school content aligned with the Massachusetts Frameworks & Standards in designated areas of instruction;  Demonstrated success in working in teams & co-teaching with various collaborators;  Other qualifications as established by the District. 

Starting Date:                       August 26, 2020

Salary:                                   As per BHEA – Unit A Contract
