Anticipated Opening

Position:       Special Education Teacher (Gr. 9-12+) Monument Mountain Regional High School

Requirements:  BA/BS or the equivalent; MA Certified preferred. 

Qualifications:    Demonstrated expertise and experience working with students on the autism spectrum, students with developmental and cognitive disabilities in grades 9-12 as well as transition years (18-22); demonstrated ability to modify curriculum and lessons to develop skills and independence and to facilitate direct academic and functional academic instruction; demonstrated experience in transition planning, transition assessments and transition instruction with individual students and small groups; use of data driven systems to monitor student progress is an essential skill; demonstrated ability to write, implement and provide all case management of IEPs, including completing 3 year re-evaluations and progress monitoring; strong collaboration skills and expertise building and leading a team in student support.  Other qualifications as established by the District.

Starting Date:                       August 25, 2022

Salary:                                   As Per BHRSD/BHEA Unit A Contract
