Dear Families:

Several families have been unable to access files on our web page or on www.homeworknow.com which are “Adobe” files.  Adobe Portable Document Format is a type of computer-generated file, identified by the suffix “.pdf” at the end of the filename.  (i.e. vocabulary.pdf)    .pdf files may be created by either Macintosh or Windows-based computers, and may contain text, charts, pictures and other data formats.  Computer users need Adobe Acrobat Reader on their PCs in order to open and read .pdf files.  The Reader can be downloaded for free at the Adobe web site:

If you are not running Windows, click on “Choose a different version” to download a reader compatible with Macintosh, Linux or other operating systems.  Follow the directions to download the software onto your PC.  Once your copy of Reader has been installed, you will be able to open .pdf files just as you do other documents.
