From the Health Office
With increasing reports of upper respiratory infections and flu like illnesses, it is very important that we remember to employ thorough and frequent hand washing as a means of prevention. In addition, if your child is ill, we ask that you please be sure that they are free of fever for 24 hours before allowing them to return to school.

Please notify the school when your child will be absent-644-2350.

A child with vomiting/diarrhea should be kept home until they are symptom-free for at least 12 hours.

A child with pinkeye may return to school 24 hours after treatment has begun.

A child may not attend school with a fever of 100 degrees or more.

All children grades K-4 are required to have completed the following schedule of immunizations before entering school:

5 doses DTAP

4 doses polio

2 doses MMR

3 doses Hepatitis B

1 dose varicella

Lead test with results

*No child can be admitted to school until all required documentation is submitted.
